Membership

CRBRA is comprised of nearly 275 builder, remodeler and industry-related associate members from across the Capital Region. Membership is by company, not individual.  Once a company joins, all of their employees are eligible for benefits. Plus, when you join CRBRA, you're also joining and gaining benefits from the New York State Builders Association (NYSBA) and National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). 

To join, submit your application including the name of a current member who referred you or is willing to sponsor you. The application will be reviewed by the Board of Directors at their monthly meeting held on the first Tuesday of each month (except July and September). Once approved, you will be notified and invoiced by staff, mailed your welcome packet and invited to build your profile on CRBRA.com.

Dues Structure

JOIN CRBRA

For 2024, total member dues are $635 broken down as follows:

• CRBRA: $262
• NYSBA: $175*
• NAHB: $198

CRBRA collects the full dues amount and sends NYSBA and NAHB their portion of the total each month. Dues are collected annually. Membership renews each year in the month you joined.

*$20 of your NYSBA dues goes toward BUILD-PAC. Contributions to BUILD-PAC are completely voluntary. You may choose not to contribute without reprisal. Contributions to BUILD-PAC will be used for political purposes and are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes.
