Best in Building Awards Committee
2022 Chairperson: Christine Raible, Best Tile Description: This committee develops, produces and oversees all aspects of the association's Best in Building Awards event. The committee is charged with identifying the venue for the event, reviewing award categories, recruiting sponsors, assisting staff with promoting the entry period and will be on-hand at the event. Meeting frequency: Third Thursday of the month (March-November) Parade of Homes Committee 2022 Chairperson: Jim Carpenter, Curtis Lumber Description: This committee develops, produces and oversees all aspects of the association's Parade of Homes event. The committee is charged with recruiting builders to participate, sponsorships and execution of the event. Meeting frequency: Second Tuesday of the month (October-June) Homes on Demand Committee 2022 Chairperson: Moe Abele, Abele Homes Description: This committee develops, produces and oversees all aspects of the association's Parade of Homes event. The committee is charged with evaluating the direction of the production, recruiting participants and sponsors. Meeting frequency: Monthly |
Membership Committee
2022 Chairperson: Coming soon! Description: In addition to building and retaining the membership, this committee shall have the responsibility of investigating all applications for membership and recommending action to the Board. Meeting Frequency: Once a month Community Projects Committee 2022 Chairperson: Paul Pipino, Pipino Builders Description: Dedicated to helping those in need in the communities we serve around the Capital Region, this committee reviews community service project requests, organizes and executes selected projects. GovernanceCRBRA is governed by the Board of Directors. The Executive Board is comprised of leadership by virtue of their position.
Board of Directors
Structure: Consists of the Executive Board and directors who are recommended by the Nominating Committee for appointments of two years. The Board of Directors shall not exceed 21 in number, with Associate members not constituting more than 40-percent of the total number. Description: The governing body of this Association, with power to transact all the general business of the Association except that reserved to the membership, Officers or Committees by the Constitution and By-laws, will be the Board of Directors. Executive Board Structure: Consists of the President, Vice President, Associate Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Immediate Past President, and a director-at-large appointed by the President. Description: This committee shall be the policy and steering committee of CRBRA and is responsible for adopting a budget for financing the association, and for all matters of policy and public statement, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors. |
